In this area we seek to promote a healthy parenting environment among the youth of the program, their sons and daughters, and the families of the nearby communities. By reducing exposure to toxic stress and through clinical therapeutic interventions, families and communities can develop a healthy response system to the various stressors they may experience.
- Improve and apply healthy parenting practices. Strengthen parental, maternal, grandparent relationships, applied six-session module developed by The Center for the Social and Emotional Foundations of Early Learning. Vanderbilt University.edu/csef (Rev. 2012).
- Orientation visits on topics of interest and prevention, identification of needs, recruitment for activities and/or groups, monitoring of services, etc. Community tour and development of social and psychoeducational groups.
